A family firm that brings dreams to life in fine chocolates.
A family's desire to position Venezuelan cocoa as the best in the world inspired Bernardo Machado, leader of the enterprise Kakao Chocolates, to construct a small company that today has an outstanding track record in the country.
Bernardo Machado insists that Venezuela has the best variety and quality of fine aromatic cocoas in the world. He explains that the genes and passion were already there; it was only a case of giving form to his vision and making the effort to rescue the noble work of producers, researchers and experts.
Machado knew that it would not be an easy journey, but spurred on by the passion and the support of the right people, anything is possible. That is the origin of the family firm Kakao Chocolates. Its creators explain that it investigates, creates and sells dreams and concepts converted into chocolates.
The BBVA Provincial Foundation provides training to Kakao Chocolates and many other SMEs, fostering the growth of their projects by giving their leaders the skills they need as part of the program “Camino Al Éxito” (the Path to Success), strengthening the country’s social and economic development through responsible business practices.
