Stefan van Woelderen

Stefan van Woelderen is Global Lead Financial Health at ING. His responsibility is ING’s Financial
Health strategy development and implementation. Stefan aligns with internal stakeholders across the organization as well as with external stakeholders. He has been actively involved in two UN groups on the topic. As co-lead of a UNEP-FI working group on Financial Health and Inclusion since 2022, and as member of the UNSGSA Financial Health Working Group since 2021. He is also an advisor to the Dutch Banking Association on Financial Inclusion. Until 2020, Stefan was Principal Economist for ING, heading an economic research team. Before that, he had roles as CEO Advisor, Economist and Consultant. Stefan is a graduate in General Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
