Manuel Ángel Méndez

Manuel Ángel Méndez is editor-in-chief of the science and technology section of El Confidencial, Teknautas, and head of the editorial project Novaceno, El Confidencial's publication on futurism. Previously, he was editor-in-chief of Gizmodo en Español, the edition for Spain and Latin America of Gizmodo, part of Gawker Media and one of the most widely read technology media worldwide until its purchase in 2016 by Univision. He was also a contributor to the technology section of El País and Cinco Días between 2008 and 2012. Previously, he worked as Research Manager at the Spanish technology research firm Penteo, and as an analyst at the American Forrester Research in London. Manuel holds a degree in Economics from the University of Oviedo, with studies in journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London, and in advanced microeconomics from the London School of Economics.
